Eckert's Farms
Eckert's is a great way to spend quality time with your family. Go to any of the three locations ( Belleville, Millsdadt, or Grafton) and prepare to smile.
These are working farms that allow you to "Pick your own". October is the season for apples and Pumpkins( of course).
Right now, the Fuji and Granny Smith apples are ready to be picked as are the pumpkins.
Depending on which location you find yourself at, you can find great activities such as : Pig races, Hay Rides, Petting zoo, great in-ground slide, pumkin' chuckin'( this is where they shoot a pumkin out of a 2 story cannon that launches it over 100 yards).
This is a great place to bring the kids and just let them go crazy ! Not expensive at all and right in our own back yard.
